Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI is produced according to the ancient method of our tradition, only from selected grape musts, cooked over direct heat and then mixed with the best well-matured wine vinegar.
Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI has a syrupy consistency, a dark, glossy color, and a pleasantly sweet and sour flavor, pleasantly aromatic. It has excellent balance and a good structure. The flavor is intense, fresh, and balanced, with a clean, aromatic, and lingering finish, making it suitable for use throughout a meal.
It's also excellent with seafood dishes, as well as rice and pasta-based first courses. It's the perfect complement to white and red meats, and fresh or aged cheeses. It pairs wonderfully with fruit, sweets, desserts, and ice cream.
