 Ingredients : Tomato paste, (celery, carrot, onion, parsley 17%), olive oil 3.5%, sugar, aromatic herbs, salt
Cooking method : Added to a slow tomato sauce to season beans, to a reduced sauce for mushroom soup, as the sole condiment for sautéed beans
The aroma is pleasant, and the consistency is moderately dense. Upon first tasting, it's quite sweet, with the onion and carrot flavors easily discernible; the tomato paste isn't overpowering and leaves no aftertaste. When cooked, the sweetness of the product means it can't be used as the sole ingredient in a sauce, but it does add flavor to a concentrated sauce or a slightly acidic sauce.
